Service very good from order to delivery. The tarmac restorer product was easy to apply and coverage was pretty good considering the bad surface. Finish is great and has raised several good comments from neighbours and visitors..

By Philip Bedford FROM Barnsley

This is my third time buying Tarmaseal which works wonders on making my tarmac driveway looking brand new, would recommend this product to anyone and also ,George the agent was very helpful and professional dealing with my order

By Grant Shilling

The tarmac restorer is a very good product. I found with the amount I had to cover over 50sq mtrs and the age of the tarmac I was restoring a roller initially wasn't up to the job, but using a soft broom worked really well. A roller will be used for the second coat to give a quality finish.

Product Description

Tarmac Restorer RED for the Restoration of Driveways

Tarmac Restorer RED for the restoration and repair of old tarmac surfaces. A superior RED tarmac paint to replace any original colouring lost over time. The RED tarmac driveway sealer will transform and protect RED tarmac surfaces.

TarmaSeal in RED restores and rejuvenates red tarmac driveways, car parks and paths. It is easily applied using a brush or roller. Prior to application, use with Crack Repair Compound and/or Cold Lay Tarmac to ensure best preparation of the surface of the tarmac. Also available in BLACK and GREEN.

The tarmac drive sealer in RED is very easy to apply. This advanced red tarmac paint, once applied, can totally transform the look of a driveway and make it look like new. TarmaSeal is a Tarmac Restorer specially designed to rejuvenate and transform tired-looking tarmac. However, TarmaSeal is far superior and much more hard-wearing than a RED tarmac paint. Another benefit is that it's a cost-effective alternative to the replacement of a driveway which can be expensive.

Tarmac Restorer RED Benefits

  • Transforms the appearance of any existing tarmac driveway
  • Replaces lost resin from tarmac, vastly superior to bitumen-based RED tarmac paint
  • Easy to apply with a roller
  • Re-creates original colour of RED tarmac
  • Avoids the need for expensive replacement of asphalt
  • Long-term protection reduces future tarmac repair
  • Covers unsightly cement & oil stains or marks
  • Superior to cheap RED tarmac paint

The RED tarmac driveway sealer provides lasting protection to RED tarmac surfaces that may have lost colour over time. The driveway sealer for tarmac is widely used by homeowners and the commercial sector.

Product Application

Preparation Guidelines for Tarmac Restorer RED

  1. If Algae or Green Growth is present, a pre-treatment with Green CLEAR is advised.

  2. Before any application of the Tarmac Restorer RED, ensure the surface is thoroughly cleaned and loose stones are swept away.

  3. Clean the tarmac by jet washing with reduced pressure to avoid damage to the surface.

  4. Carry out any tarmac repairs that may be required use Crack Repair Compound for holes and cracks. Cold Lay Repair for larger potholes.

Application Guidelines for Tarmac Restorer RED

  1. Apply Tarmac Restorer RED to a clean, dry tarmac surface with temperatures above 12 degrees with no rain is forecast for at least 3 hours after the application of the Tarmac Restorer RED has finished.

  2. For best results, it is advisable to use a long-handled Roller Set with a medium pile head. A soft broom or tarmac paintbrush can be used for borders or hard to get to areas, but generally, a Roller Set is best.

  3. Two coats of Tarmac Restorer RED are recommended. Average coverage ratios are 40-60sq.* metres per 20 Litre drum (60 sq. metres if the tarmac is in good condition but has lost colour and faded over time; 40 sq. metres for poorer quality tarmac surfaces).

  4. Prior to commencing application, thoroughly shake the container. This will ensure the pigment and the slip-enhancing additive within the product are mixed thoroughly and not settled at the bottom of the container.

  5. Leave 2-4 hours between coats and shake the container each time before pouring into tray or roller.

  6. Areas adjacent to neighbours driveways, flower beds or lawns should be masked off to avoid unwanted coverage.

  7. After application, keep vehicles off for 24 hours and foot traffic for 2-4 hours.

Maintenance Guidelines for Tarmac Restorer RED

  1. Any ongoing maintenance should be restricted to a gentle sweep and a washdown once or twice a year.

  2. The Tarmac Restorer RED itself is a very durable product, but as with any other external product, it will require re-application from time to time. For Tarmac Driveways that receive an average amount of traffic, a top-up coat of Tarmac Restorer RED is recommended, on average, every 5 years.

  3. For Tarmac Driveways that are more heavily trafficked or are in very shady, damp conditions, more frequent top-up coats may be necessary.

Product FAQs

Q: How much area would a 20 Ltr red tarmaseal cover on a slightly faded red tarmac...Also do they sell a deaper colour red Thankyou

Mr B Holmes

A: Samples are available for testing the colour. Average coverage is 50m2 per 20L first coat and 60m2 per 20L drum second coat. Hope that helps.

Response from George

Q: I am having trouble finding someone in my area to lay red tarmac on a path in my garden. Could I lay black tarmac and then use the Tarmaseal over it to make it look like red tarmac?

Julie

A: This would not recommended, you could try a sample 1st. Our concern would be it might take several coats of the red tarmac storer to cover up the black and it might wear inconsistently. Hope that helps.

Response from Jacob

Q: My red tarmac drive is about 6 years old. We've recently had building works done and there is cement and other residue stains on the drive. Is this the right product after I've power washed it to bring back the colour and hide the stains?

Stephen Mason

A: It would be best to try and remove as much of the staining on the surface before applying the TarmaSeal. It will cover some stains, but the product could wear quicker in them areas if it hasn't taking properly to the tarmac.
